Here, you can view the existing categories, and if adjustments are needed, modifications can be made. To create a new category, simply click on the “New Category” button. Categories are used to distinguish between different types of products, allowing you to organize them accordingly.

In this you can search the category list of the product by searching the name and type of category in the search bar.

If you want to delete the category then first assign the products of this category to another category (you can also create a new category and then assign the product to different category) then delete the category you want to delete.

If you want to create a new category then click on the New Category Button

• Input the category name based on the products you intend to add.
• Category Types: – There are two distinct types of categories:

1. Product Type: – Selecting this indicates that you want to add it as a product.
2. Gift Voucher Type: – Choosing this option implies that you want to add it as a voucher. In the Point of Sale (POS), when a bill is created for a product marked as a Gift Voucher, it automatically includes the voucher in the voucher list and displays it in the printout.

• Show in POS: – This indicates whether you want to display this category in the Point of Sale. Select ‘Yes’ if you want to show it, and ‘No’ if you don’t.

Subsequently, press the Add button.

You also have the option to update or delete this category.
