Membership Discount

First, configure the membership discount on the settings page:-

1. Select “Applicable On Platform”: This option allows you to choose the platform(s) where the membership discount will be applied.

1. None:- If you select None then the membership discount is not applied in any platform (mobile or admin) 
2. Mobile:- If you select Mobile, only a mobile membership discount is applied.
3. Frontdesk:- If you choose Frontdesk then only in admin membership discount is applied.
4. Both:- If you select Both then in both admin and mobile membership discount is applied.

2.  Select “Membership Discount Type”: Here, you can choose the type of membership discount you want to apply, determining which customers will be eligible for the discount.

1. None: Selecting “None” means no membership discount will be applied to any customer.
2. For All: Choosing “For All” applies the membership discount to all customers, regardless of membership status.
3. For Active Members: If “Active Members” is selected, the discount will only apply to customers with an active membership. (The discount is applied if the member has an active membership available.)
4. For New Members: If “New Members” is selected, the discount will apply only to new customers without an existing membership. (The discount is applied if the member has no active membership.)

3. Membership discount percentage:- Enter the percentage of the discount you want to set for membership here.

4. Grace Period:- If the “Active Members” discount type is selected, a grace period will be applied. However, if you select “None,” “For All,” or “For New Members,” the grace period will not be applied.

If “For Active Members” is selected as the membership discount type, the grace period will be applied exclusively to them.

In this scenario, if your membership expired on 18-10-2024 and today’s date is 21-10-2024, with a grace period of 7 days, the discount will still be applied when the customer purchases a new membership during this grace period.

For example, if your membership expiration falls within the grace period, the discount will be valid.

Once you have set these conditions, click the “Update Membership Discount” button to apply the discount.
