Clover Device settings

To add a new Clover device to the system, click on the Add New Device button, and a pop-up will open where fill in the Clover device details to connect the device. You can also update and delete the Clover device from the list by clicking on the action button.

Ensure that both the Clover device and your system are connected to the same network.

  • Clover App ID: – In this field, there is no need for you to fill it, as it is pre-filled.
  • Clover Device Serial No.: – In this field, you need to enter the serial number of your Clover device.
  • POS Name: – In the POS Name field, you can enter any name of your choice.
  • Clover Device Link: – In this section, enter the device link displayed on the Clover device when accessing the Secure Network Pay Display App.
  • Status: – In this section, you can verify the status of the device to determine whether it is active or not.

If you want to connect the Clover device, then click on the Connect button, and a pop-up will open.

Select the device from the list you want to connect.

Next, click on the Start Pairing button to pair the device.

  1. Initiate the Clover Device and locate the Secure Network Pay Display App.
  2. Ensure the Clover Device is connected to the same network as this PC.
  3. Input the complete link from the Clover device into the ‘Clover Device Link’ field above. Choose one of the two links displayed on the device, and preferably, opt for the link without the IP.
  4. Click the ‘Update’ button above.
  5. Next, click the green start button on the Clover Device, and it will display the welcome screen.
  6. Subsequently, click the ‘Pair Now’ button below.
  7. A pop-up message on this page will reveal an OTP code as the device starts linking.
  8. Enter this code on the device. If you’ve established an admin password on the Clover device, enter it first, followed by this OTP code.
  9. After entering the code, a confirmation message will appear on both devices and on this page.
  10. You are now ready to commence a transaction.

Once you click on the “Start Pairing” button, proceed by clicking the “Start” button on your Clover device.

After clicking the “Start” button, proceed to click on the “Pair Now” button.

A new pop-up will appear on the Clover device.

Enter your manager’s passcode, and a pop-up will subsequently appear on your system screen.

Another popup will open on the Clover device..

Enter the code displayed on the system screen into the Clover device, and your Clover device will be successfully connected.

If the device is not connected, copy the Clover device link displayed in the Clover device settings. Additionally, ensure that the URL in the device and settings page is consistent. If they are not the same, enter the device URL in the Clover device link field on the Clover device settings page. Open the URL in a browser (e.g.,).

wss://Clover-C043EQ13850338.local:2000/remote_pay

Replace wss with https and press Enter.

  Next, click on “Advanced,” and then proceed to Clover.

Subsequently, press the “Start” button on the Clover device, and within the Clover settings page, select the “Pair Now” button.

A new pop-up will appear on the Clover device.

Enter your manager passcode in this field, and a popup will subsequently appear on your system screen.

Another pop-up will appear on the Clover device.

Enter the code displayed on the system screen into the Clover device to establish the connection.

To test whether the device is connected or not, click on the “Open Testing Page” button.

And there, you can verify:

  • Device status can be viewed, and you can also perform actions like:
  • Display the message
  • Create sale
  • Check payment status
  • Void sale
  • Additionally, you have the option to reset the device.

Actions to avoid.

  • During a transaction, avoid disconnecting the Clover device or exiting the Network Pay Display application.
  • If the Clover device is not functioning properly, please restart the device and reconnect it to the system.
  • Do not connect a single Clover machine to two different systems.
  • Ensure that the internet connection on both the Clover device and your system is consistent.
